SIGNATURE OF SUPPORT TO THE MINDANAO 2020. Former President Fidel V. Ramos pledges his support to the formulation of the Mindanao 2020 Framework Plan for Peace and Development, by signing on the Declaration Wall that was unveiled during the development plan's launching at the Conference Room of the Mindanao Economic Development Council (MEDCo), as MEDCo Chair Virgilio Leyretana looks on. The launching of the Mindanao 2020 was attended by representatives from various sectors in Mindanao. Proposed as an updated version of Mindanao 2000, and envisioned as a plan with greater emphasis on history, culture, peace and development, the Mindanao 2020 will be based on multi-stakeholder consultations in the next few months.
